I am undertaking an electrical engineering apprenticeship, this involves wiring electrical panels, mounting components and designing electrical drawings.
I have learnt lots of new skills, use of new computer design software, practical skills and how to read technical documentation.
I enjoy my apprenticeship alot, the people I work with are alot of fun and there is always something fun to laugh about as well as carrying out satisfying work.
I feel very valued and needed within the electrical department and I am given a certain amount of responsibility.
My programme is very well structured and I am on day release to a local college, my progress is regularly checked.
I receive plenty of support with whatever is required, my work and technical college work.
My employer supports my work well and encourages me, and will also help with any issues I have.
My salary is very good for an apprenticeship and suits my living requirements.
I am given plenty of opportunities to travel with my work and to experience things outside of work.
Yes
Very good pay and a good skill to learn with plenty of qualifications.
To show willingness and be keen about the work and make an effort to get on with fellow colleagues.
