  • "IT Manager" - I was in charge of overseeing IT functionality as well as general admin tasks at a business conference.

  • Certainly benefited my interpersonal skills as well as ability to adapt on the spot when things didn't quite go to plan!

  • It was hard work but a great experience. I'd do something like it again.

  • The manager was quite short and sharp but he did appreciate the work.

  • Quite limited in structure as the company is small and due to the nature of the event we had to be flexible.

  • My employer was mostly on hand to answer queries but expected me to be largely independent.

  • As the conference was in London we were out in town every night!
