I spent a week working at Gems TV where I would perform different roles from camera to floor managing. It was all live TV, so being a camera operator was my favourite role. It was also really informal, since the presenters would often talk to you when you were behind the camera (live on air!)
I learned about the technical infrastructure behind a TV studio
Very much so. I still recommend it to people today
The people were very kind and helpful - they worked with me rather than ignoring me since I was work experience
I rotated around their 4 studios Monday to Thursday, then Friday I chose my favourite. This was a brilliant plan!
Not really applicable for 1 week of work experience
I was finishing A levels, so I had no employer
N/A
This helped me choose to go to uni and study

Great fun and very useful!
