  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work as a Customer Service Coordinator. The main purpose of my role is to take Admin tasks off the Sales Floor in order to 'free them up' so that they can generate more money into the business. This includes, CV formatting and Importing amongst many other tasks. Along with this I have been learning a new role (Customer Service Executive) where I am raising contracts and dealing with a number of contractors we have with our Clients.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learn't a huge amount of new skills. The main way I can see this was when I finished my apprenticeship and came out with a Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration. With this I have also developed myself personally by learning new skills such as; MS Word, MS Excel, , dealing with a variety of problems, juggling & prioritising workload. Finally, communication skills, this is shown as I have been on Client side and had a fantastic experience where I aided them to set up a new profile for psychometric assessments.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have massively enjoyed my time on the program, as I am putting into practise the work that I was gaining a qualification for. This means that the knowledge gained from the qualification does not disappear (like it has with a lot of school qualifications).

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • The training providers were very good and were always at the end of the phone or email waiting to answer any queries I had. When they came in they were very supportive and the apprenticeship moved quickly due to both parties coming prepared for the monthly meetings.
