  • I worked on a horse riding school doing all daily duties included in running a yard. I also rode and got training towards my BHS stsges exams

  • I received my BHS stage 1 exam and gained lots of experience in the business side of running a yard

  • I enjoyed the being around the horses but the people I worked for where not the best.

  • I did not feel valued I felt like a cheap worker and did not feel respected

  • The programme was quite well organised theory wise when I had lessons

  • I received plenty of support from my training providers

  • When they weren't being patronising i received some support

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I received £2.50 an hour which I found out was 10p under the minimum wage given. I worked 80 hours a week

  • Now I have my stage 1 and her. To uni yes in some ways there are

  • No

  • I felt I was not respected the same as co workers because I was young and an apprentice


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Burrows Lane Riding School?
  • Do your research I found out after my job had a high turn around in apprentices due to the way they were treated
