I worked on a horse riding school doing all daily duties included in running a yard. I also rode and got training towards my BHS stsges exams

I received my BHS stage 1 exam and gained lots of experience in the business side of running a yard

I enjoyed the being around the horses but the people I worked for where not the best.

I did not feel valued I felt like a cheap worker and did not feel respected

The programme was quite well organised theory wise when I had lessons

I received plenty of support from my training providers

When they weren't being patronising i received some support

I received £2.50 an hour which I found out was 10p under the minimum wage given. I worked 80 hours a week

Now I have my stage 1 and her. To uni yes in some ways there are

I felt I was not respected the same as co workers because I was young and an apprentice

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Burrows Lane Riding School?

Do your research I found out after my job had a high turn around in apprentices due to the way they were treated
