I assisted with basic stocking and serving customers at the CEX store for school work experience. I was only on the Tills briefly and mostly stocked shelves and sorted out games and DVDS into cases.
I did not learn many skills from my work experience, only some customer service skills and how to serve people through the till.
It was only very short, but it was a nice change from school at the time. I enjoyed getting a taste of the working environment.
I did not feel very valued as they mostly let me stock shelves, quite menial work with not much satisfaction.
It was relatively poorly structured, I just was told what to do each day.
I was given quite thorough instructions as to what to do, so it was good.
Not applicable as it was only for a week.
My work experience was unpaid.
Also not applicable, there were no outside opportunities
No
It was not very fulfilling and the fact it was unpaid was unfair.
Be prepared to not undertake as many tasks as you'd like.
