  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Helping out in the kitchen areas, making sandwiches, not operating any the machinery that required advanced qualifications

    5/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Not particularly, other than perhaps time management and professionalism

    3/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was unfortunately fairly dull. Menial tasks, some time off for lunch, limited discussion with managers and co-workers meant you were on your own for large swathes of time. There was also one accident that saw me having to go home early due to burns

    2/10

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I had some tasks to take care of as mentioned above, but largely there was very little to do

    4/10

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Almost none, there was a poor general attitude towards training

    3/10

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Similarly to 6.a

    3/10

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

    1/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • No

    1/10

  • 9. Would you recommend Skills Solutions Stockport to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • It wasn't a great week, little communication and uninteresting work that didn't really reflect the challenges of the modern workplace

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Skills Solutions Stockport?
