  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • at first there were flaws in the programme and no real sens of direction with day to day activity's but as time has gone on and a new manager has taken over our apprenticeship programme i think things have improved massively and now we have a day to day plan which helps with learning and makes me feel part of the team.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • i only really have contact with the training provider when my assessor comes in once a month to check work etc, but i feel as though we are not properly informed about changes with the course and starting/finishing dates for my work. i am supposed to be staring a HNC in September and i have received no information from the college on starting dates or what the qualification entails. i had to transfer training providers half way through my NVQ due to my first college going in to liquidation and since then things have seemed to be up in the air and no one seems to know whats happening with my NVQ in terms of meeting the new colleges criteria and if i will need to do additional work in order to achieve there standard of the new college but hopefully in time as i progress through the NVQ things will become clearer.
