  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • local marketing admin assistant, managing low spend new/refit food store launches (providing marketing support within budget), dealing with wide marketing team, ops teams and stores internally, externally dealing with creative agencies, media booking agencies, printers and events marketing agency. also deal with the team's purchase orders and finance dept. to ensure all supplier paid etc, manage all the teams working documents ensuring all up to date.

  • NVQ business admin, learnt marketing skills, organisational skills and many others related to a business environment.

  • very much. team was great both the one I worked with and the apprentice support system. met my expectations and more

  • yes, been given great opportunities to progress in the business

  • all was organised , had no issues.

  • always available and came in to visit regularly

  • manager and HR team always available to guide me through and help me with anything

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • met my costs for it all, very good for an apprentice wage. went up after completed the qualification and I then applied for another job within the food marketing team and got that so had progression of pay as a real boost

  • we went on a few outings with the apprentices including rowing across lake Windermere

  • Yes

  • really good alternative to uni, feel valued and learnt a lot. lots of opportunity for progression


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
  • be confident, honest and yourself. they are really supportive. all the information is given to you to be successful
