1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My job role is within Consumer and Marketing Insight(CMI) for Magnum Ice cream. I assist with projects that involve finding out about consumers through research.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The apprenticeship itself provides me with a level 3 qualification. I have also become a more confident individual in the workplace as a result of the scheme.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My team are very welcoming and really include me within everything that they do both inside and outside work. Unilever is an amazing company to work for with endless opportunities.

4. How valued do you feel by Unilever?

I feel extremely valued by everyone in both my team and the unilever community and they really emphasise the importance of my opinions.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The introduction and training at the begining of the of the scheme helped to get an overview of what the scheme consists of in more detail.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

A large amount of support and guidence at the begining of the scheme which helps with confidence increasing over a period of time.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My team are my main support network when I need any help I can speak to them and they will point me in the right direction. My manager supports me with all aspect of my job including apprentice related things.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

The salary is great for an apprentice as well as receiving the london allowance which goes towards travel costs of commuting into london.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

There are endless voluntary opportunities that are advertised to those in unilever. A long with many sporting activities that are available at the gym.

Yes

The opportunties that are available really helped me to develop as a person and they could do the same for a lot of people.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?

To try and feel prepared and confident with the application process. Don't doubt your abilties, it is worth applying.
