  • I work in marketing. This means providing creative advice and guidance, providing consistent campaign support and inputting/leading projects. I work within the wider Communications team so get to input and guide Partnerships too.

  • I have learnt so many new skills. Perseverance, team work and patience to name a few.

  • I enjoy working within a large network and genuinely making an impact. I have responsibility and I can see opportunities to progress every single day.

  • I do feel very valued. My manager and my wider team support me to the end of the earth.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very structured. I touch base with my manager, apprentice team and assessor on a regular and controlled basis. If I need help, I know I can reach out.

  • Enough to keep me on track.

  • A lot. My Manager is incredible, I know there's always someone to ask for help.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It's just enough, however, my parents do have to support me in living away from home.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes. My role means that I get to attend a lot of extra events. These are charity events, empowering talks and parties. I took part in voluntary work at a food bank for two days and I'm encouraged to take on extra training.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I don't feel like I'm missing out on University and I can see a brighter future for being here. My prospects are huge and I've learnt so much. I've built a network of people who have my back and I feel like it's only up from here. There are so many opportunities for me to explore different departments and to find my passion points within the business.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Be confident and take on absolutely every single opportunity you're offered. Throw yourself in the deep end, because that's when you'll learn the most, and appreciate every single second of the journey. Get yourself out there! The application process is daunting, but be yourself and make the most of the resources you're given.
