  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • As I am one of the first finance apprentices, it was the first time the program had been tested. There have been a few changes to the program since I have started, however it has been well organised to get me to transition well between the changes. I am given a wide range of tasks and as well as working on Accounts Payable I will also be going to work with Credit Control once I have completed my first year in my apprenticeship.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I receive lots of support when at college, to help me to achieve my best results possible, which is shown in my exams that I have already taken. They also have review meetings which look to see what I am doing well in and also to see if I have any concerns and that I am being treated fairly in my work.

  • I have received lots of support from many people whilst I have been here. Starting from my team who help me with general queries, my manager with more complicated queries and also I have a regular meeting with my manager to discuss concerns and to help me to improve myself. I also see a mentor (who was my old manager) on a monthly basis to also help me to achieve the best of my ability. • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • From coming from school, I had no expectation of a salary. I was just very luck to have the privilege to have the opportunity to get a qualification with out having the debt of university. Also as I live near my work I don't spend much on fuel and as there is parking facilities here then I don't spend money on parking.
