  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot. They constantly check to see if I am finding both internal and external work okay and i would feel very comfortable talking to them about any problems I may have.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I find it difficult when I have been working there 6 months that i get £2.00 less an hour than somebody who has just started and that I am training them to do tasks such as date checks. I did however know this when I applied for the apprenticeship so have no complaints. Daily living costs would be difficult if I did not have rent free accommodation with food paid for. As I live with my parents I can afford daily costs, however if i did not i would struggle massively.

    4/10

  • Lots of company nights out with other members of staff can be enjoyed.

    8/10

  • 9. Would you recommend Aldi to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel valued and the opportunities in the future are promising.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Keep going. There are lots of interview stages that are very nerve racking and can get onto of you, but if you keep going it will be worth it if you have a log for retail.
