  • Learning how to be a manager and undertaking a management role in store for example cash office, processing orders, working deliveries, office paperwork and many other things to ensure the smooth running of the store

  • Yes, I have learnt strong customer service skills, my mental maths has become stronger, I have learnt all the paper work side of the business and I am now gaining my people management skills

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I'm really enthusiastic about the programme, I recently attended a careers fair to promote the scheme which I really enjoyed telling possible new apprentices how much I love aldi!

  • I do feel valued by aldi especially by my store manager, really feel like I'm a member of a really good team

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The college side of the qualification is structured into two halves which makes it easier to see where you are upto with the qualification and the aldi side of the qualification is well organised to give you the best possible chance of becoming the best you can be

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My training provider is the manchester college and my assessor comes into store and gives me any advice I need, and deals with any problems I might have with any of the work set for the qualification.

  • I receive a lot of support off my in store team, it's really nice to know that they are trying there best for me to achieve my best

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • For an apprenticeship wage the salary is really generous compared to other employers.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes there are loads of opportunities to represent the scheme outside of store for example I attended a careers fair a few months ago to promote the aldi scheme

  • Yes

  • It's a excellent opportunity for someone who is hardworking and out going and Is driven to progress with in a company which is growing year on year


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • For the interviewing stages try your best to come across as confident as possible I know this is nerve racking but you need to stand out. If you get an apprenticeship with aldi it will be difficult in the first couple of weeks to adjust especially if you haven't worked before but stick at it everyone goes through it and it is well worth them couple of difficult weeks
