  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy doing the Apprenticeship and the tasks that have been set for me. I much prefer working in a day role compared to my time on shift, as I feel this is where my strengths are.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Nestle?
  • We have been told that Apprentices are the pioneers of Nestle, so I feel as though we are valued in what we are doing. I would like to see this continue on after the Apprenticeship.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Well structured when we joined, however there was a fairly significant time where we did not have a training manager so the structure was lacking a little bit. Now we have another training manager it is getting back on track.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The pay is very good for an Apprenticeship wage but this is due to the shift allowance. Glad the shift allowance is still included after moving onto days however I would have liked to see a pay rise after the first year.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • I'm not sure how many opportunities there are outside of work but I myself have attended a few work-based meals celebrating people moving onto another part of their career, or retirement etc.

  • 9. Would you recommend Nestle to a friend?

  • 9b. Why?
  • I think that Nestle is a great opportunity and there is plenty of room for development. Good start to a career and it is a company where many people have spent most of their lives working.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nestle?
  • Appreciate the opportunity that has been given to you. Always show drive and initiative and you will go far. Make sure you keep the right sort of attitude towards work and others.
