Infastructure Support Specialist Review

My Daily tasks include checking the Assyst queue for any new incidents raised for me to adhere too. I would usually be assigned some Assyst's to work on during the day. This is my general day task for most days of the week.

I have learned how to develop code in Java, SQL, PL/SQL and have highly developed my skills using UNIX.

I thoroughly enjoy my apprentice programme, I especially enjoy working with my team on code problems and attending University campus once a week. It has exceeded my expectations and I have yet to have a boring day.

Accenture helps me feel heavily involved as they often recognise the work I have produced and provide useful feedback.

With my intake of apprentices being the "Prototype" our experience has been quite free and ambiguous; however everything that has been structured has been executed to a top tier standard and organised.

We all received 1-2-1 support if we required it; and we all had access to daily emails if we required to get in touch.

Immense amounts of support from my Manager and my Career councillor; they offer me daily support throughout the day in my job role. They seem genuinely enthused to help and offer guidance.

My Salary exceeds my cost of living, travel and daily costs etc.

They're an enormous amount of opportunities outside of work hours; company events and activities are always being setup. When I wasn't working I was on the dole searching for any job to lay my hands on.

Get basic understanding of Linux and using the UNIX command line. And get a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Java.
