  • 4. How valued do you feel by UBS?
  • Very valued, the apprentices in my department have been given a project to do by senior management and generally colleagues are supportive of our work. I was promoted to a more senior position within my sector as my peers were extremely happy with my worth ethic and quality of work.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The introduction and training are very structured but when I came to the exams we were never given a definite timeline as to when they needed to be completed and the same with the coursework. Once we completed the exams and asked to move on to other exams, we contacted the relevant people but never received a response. Even after numerous chaser emails - the team again couldn't give us a clear timeline as to when these other exams could be completed (even though they said at the start of the apprenticeship, we could move onto the other exams)

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary is ok but it isn't that competitive - I had offers from other institutions which had a lot higher salary. But I favored the job role over the salary.
