  • 4. How valued do you feel by Accenture?
  • I feel extremely valued. This is in particular shown by the rewards we have been given since starting. Even though we are more or less starting at the bottom of the hierarchy, we still get the same rewards and treatment as managers and level A's. Its excellent and the company is brilliant at giving recognition and keeping the employees motivated.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Since the first year of the scheme, the apprenticeship has became much more robust and specific about what it aims to get from you. I believe the support we have been given to complete the course to a high standard has been fantastic and the mentoring system and monthly meetings have highlighted everything which i need to do in order to get where i want to be.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Brilliant, at the end of the day i am only an apprentice at the moment so i dont expect to me on huge amounts of money. For my age, the wage is everything i was looking for and more at the moment. It covers my living costs, food costs, clothes etc as long as you are sensible with it there is no reason why the wage shouldnt be perfect for you.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes. There are chances to learn new things such as how to make sushi, which was a recent hit. There are also a diverse range of social gatherings outside of work to allow you to meet new people and mingle. Furthermore, work supports me in the gym which is really helpful. In addition to this, the company have a few events each year to keep employees engaged and motivated as to what is happening. In terms of voluntary initiatives, there are endless amounts of charities which Accenture supports and helps towards, and, with 3 charity days a year provided to each employee, there is no reason why you would not be allowed to help a charity if you wanted to.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I already have reccommended a friend recently to Accenture, and he is hoping to complete a princes trust initiative today in order to secure an interview!

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
  • Stay focussed on what you want from the company and aspire to be successful. Dont put yourself down, be confident in the interview and really showcase your strengths! Try to tell Accenture about things you have done in the past e.g charity work, volunteering. Think of Accenture as a future and not just a 9-5 job, this is a job i enjoy getting out of work for, you will too if you have the right attitude.
