  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently in a placement as a systems developer which will be where I stay after my apprenticeship finishes, I have completed 4 other placements within IT. There is no such thing as a typical day as every day is different and involves working with people from across the business to check their requirements have been filled.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • my programme has been very structured, within the first few weeks of joining we were invited to an induction day which was informative and helped to find out what my apprenticeship would involve. I have also had the opportunity to have a mentor to help and guide me through my apprenticeship which has been really useful. We are given a certain amount of study time each week to complete any apprenticeship work and they have been very supportive in making sure this is given

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • The training providers can sometimes be difficult to contact due to other training but we will always get back to you with an answer. When asked a question or asked for support they will always pass it on to someone else if they cannot give you the guidance or answer needed
