job title- creative apprentice, working in the consumer product department along side other designers creating products for a variety of licencies. e-mailing over design/cads to the category manager to send off. also creating product boards for use in presentations and to show licencies any new style guides we have and how they would look on product.
yes, after i finish my apprenticeship i would have gained a level 3 national diploma in multi media and design. i have learnt presentation skills as Warner Bros offer free training courses that really helped with my confidence. I have learnt photoshop to industrial standard as well as illustrator and In Design.
My team i work with are great and have been supportive since my first day. i have enjoyed all of my time at Warner Bros and feel it have been a great opportunity.
Very much so! they offer great packages along with your job, you get a great insight into the industry and you always get rewarded for hard work.
As i am only the second apprentice/intern to work in the consumer products department their was not a specific program in place yet but me and my line manager have been working to create one along with HR, ready for the next apprentice.
From my line manager i get amazing help. from my NVQ assessor the advice was clear and informative. How ever I would have liked the chance to go to a different college as this one and the teachers were not at all competent and i would strongly recomend NOT sending the apprentices to the Kensington and chelsea college. Furthermore the offsted report was very poor.
The WarnerBros company and my team are incredibly compasionate people that want to make sure you are doing well inside as well as outside work.
As i live with my partner i am able to live comfortably, it is also enough if i were to live near or inside London in a flat or shared accomodation.
yes there are lots of chances to go to premiers of new films every so now and then, we have off site meetings and volunteering days. the building is right in the middle of London so there is lots to do.
Yes
All of the above^^^^ its a great foot in the door and a great experience for anyone wanting to get into a specific industry.
Always Be Yourself! be honest, kind and work hard. Its a great opportunity that not many people get so don't waste it!
