  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Slightly out of the ordinary when compared with other apprenticeships. The scheme is set up so that apprentices rotate their job role to gain a key understanding of the businesses core areas and also some non-core. Placements last 6-9 months and the core areas are Procurement, Business and Performance, Supply Chain and Commercial. I am currently in a non core placement: Internal Communications and my role is to: To support the creation and publication of internal communication material, the planning and delivery of internal communications activities and the administration of feedback mechanisms. I am at the site in Stevenage for 3 1/2 days a week and the rest is spent at the University of Hertfordshire.
