My role at work is a trainee quantity surveyor. This involves assisting with material orders, Communicating with Sub-Contractors to help the team achieve the best value for money, PQQ’s for Subcontractors that are new to our supply chain, Assisting with Sub-Contract orders and Measurements in relation to various Subcontract trades
Whilst working at Morgan Sindall i have learnt so many skills i would never have learnt elsewhere. They have helped me develop myself as a person in and outside of the workplace.
Working for Morgan Sindall has been a great experience which i love every minute of. They make the workplace as enjoyable as they can for everyone to ensure team cohesion is good.
Morgan Sindall make me feel like a valuable asset of the team. I have been provided with so many opportunities that I wouldn’t have been elsewhere. The team I have worked alongside have provided me with much support and have made me feel part of the team
My Structure is balanced. My workplace is very well organised and structured compared to my college course alongside my placement. It seems to vary alot. But luckily Morgan Sindall are very supportive to my education so it helps alot.
My Training provider at Morgan Sindall (Ray-mellor-Pike) helps me in every way he can. He gives his all to ensure Morgan sindall me me the very best at what i do.
My Employer provides me with a lot support if i need it whether it is inside or outside of their working hours. This is very helpful if you are worried about something need advice
Salary is the only downfall of my scheme. My wage near enough covers my monthly expenses. I dont often go short but i find it hard to save. I would like to get on the property ladder as soon as possible but with my wage package this is basically impossible.
Morgan Sindall offer great opportunities outside of work. Because of the great team cohesion we all get on really well and have a great relationship with each other so this makes it a lot easier for activities to take place outside of work.

They advice i would give someone who is applying for Morgan Sindall would be to reasearch the company and know what type of projects the company is interested in. Also ask as many questions as possible at the interview show a keenness to learn.
