    4/10

  • 4. How valued do you feel by JLR?
  • We are treated like children at college but it is slightly better in plant. We are more walking money makers in most eyes.

    5/10

  • College has terrible organisation, with very last minute decisions. In department is better but is over organised (if there can be such thing)

    6/10

    3/10

  • There is a learning manager than you can see if you are struggling but as they are you employer there is little you can really say without drawbacks.

    5/10

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The pay is very good. Very competitive and better than most other apprenticeships out there. If you want a good wage this is the one to do!

    8/10

  • Employee work scheme allows you to use £200 each year to learn something new outside of work.

    7/10

  • 9. Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • The pay is good but not very rewarding. Either filling time with little tasks or doing large project in short timescales. I would personally advise my friends to do other things like university.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
  • Be yourself in interviews, make sure that this is what you want to go into as you are tied in for at least 6 years plus 2ish after that if you don't want to pay back uni fees.
