  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a diagnostic, I work for Marks and Spencer and it is my job to try and fix their tills when I can. I also work for Primark and I have to sort their calls which come in as well.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Throughout this Apprenticeship I will gain level 3 diploma qualification. During my time at Fujitsu I have learnt quite a bit as there lots of things to do.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy working as a team, The company is good its self but I feel that there aren't a lot of opportunities. As on the marks and spencer side you all share the work, sometimes there isn't enough communication so that means sometimes you get 2 people working on the same till.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Fujitsu?
  • I feel that I need to more involved within the company as at the moment I feel that I have only learnt the basics. Recently I received an award for helping Primark which was nice.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The support isn't very good, When you email the lecturer they don't reply back. At the start my programme was organised very well.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I have a lot of support from my training provider which is good. Whenever I need any help they are there to help me. If I am concerned about anything then I can just ask them.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have a lot of support from my employer. Obviously they don't know a lot about the apprenticeship but they try and help where they can.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My wage packet it ok for my position at the moment. Obviously the longer that I am here I would like my wage packet to be increased.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • no not really. There are clubs which happen during lunch time but I haven't really had chance to go down to have a look. the odd time we have a curry night.

  • 9. Would you recommend Fujitsu to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Its ok for a starting point. In order to do well within this company I think you would have to leave and then re join again in a couple of years but for a higher role.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
  • If you ever have an interview within Fujitsu, make sure you do your research. I would advise them that they have the right experience otherwise you may not know what to do.
