  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role was mainly to report to my supervisor which changed almost daily and complete set tasks surrounding their area of law which if I finished I often got to do real life work that they were working on as well. I often got to meet and talk to senior members of the firm and it gave me a brilliant overview of what my life will be like when I become a trainee.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my skills as a lawyer which admittedly were limited and also my time-management skills have improved as I had to limit time on tasks to make sure I completed all my tasks on time.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed this programme and would do it again in a heart beat. The team were all amazingly welcoming where I expected them to just put the students to one side and lookdown on them. The work was very interesting and this experience well exceeded my expectations.
