  • 4. How valued do you feel by NatWest?
  • I do feel involved and appreciated by members of my team. However there is a stigma attached to the term apprentice in every job. I don't know if this is something that can be changed.

    8/10

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well organised however I do not think that their is consistency across the bored with study time and the way it is approached. Some apprentices are allowed to study at home where in other offices it would not suit the work flow or lifestyle in that office.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received as much support as you can expect in a busy and constantly changing job. My line manager is very supportive in getting me experience and developing me as person. However the amount of studying that is needed I hard to include in an ideal week.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Salary is packaged well due to the rewards that top the salary up. One query is when you complete the apprenticeship programme and are still classed as an apprentice but doing the full role your pay does not change even though your doing the job?!

    7/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes there are a lot of career events , helping with school programmes. We are situated in a easily accessible place.

    8/10

  • 9. Would you recommend NatWest to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Very supportive and career driven place to work. They are supportive with your personal life as well as the life you live in work.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • The application process is very long and you jump through hoops. When it comes down to actually having the job, don't give up and you deserve to be there, and you have demonstrated that you are more than capable more than once before you become an employee of RBS. To accept challenges and every opportunity.
