  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Day to day I carry out the Reporting for all the Projects that go on in the Ops world. I interact daily with everyone in my team reaching almost 200 people because of the information I am required to gather.

  • I have already passed the first exam within my apprenticeship and am acquiring new skills everyday. The broad title of my jobs means I am never doing the same thing and am always learning how to carry out new tasks.

  • I feel like the tasks I carry out are the same as any other employee would, after just 4 short months with the firm people are coming to me for help with certain topics which I have gained the knowledge on in my job role. My manager is very supportive in everything I do.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think the balance and structure is very well balanced. Although the exams are hard giving us one day off a week is the right amount of time to put in to get a good result out.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • So much support. I speak one on one with my manager at least once a week and she helps me with anything I need. If there is something additional to this when she is busy I know anyone in my team is willing to help.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I would say the Salary is ok. I wouldn't say that I am short of money but for a full time role and paying rent/for a car/parking and going out it does because very tight and fairly hard to save.
