I am a rebate analyst, and work within the merchandising team. I am responsible for a division called S&G, and involves me making payments to customers and setting up agreements with new customers
I have learnt much more about excel, and learnt a new system called SAP. I have attended 50 hours of training for SAP and attend training at QA often for my apprenticeship
I enjoy leaning new skills and working with multiple people. I do different things each day so it keeps things interesting
very much so. my team are all very accommodating and helpful, and always making sure i understand and have things to do. I received a star award too.
very good. Liz makes sure I complete the right coursework within the time constraints and helps me. the training at the QA centre is less organised and often badly structured. the last one I attended left the whole class feeling lost and irritated
Liz is very helpful. she doesn't inundate you with emails checking up, she just tells us clearly what to do and updates our e-track, then leaves us to get on with it.
My employer is very kind and accommodating, taking a genuine interest in how things are going and how I feel.
The salary is higher than most apprenticeships, which I do appreciate. however given the level and type of work that I do, i feel i do deserve a higher pay rate, as mine is considerably lower than those i work with, who carry out the same job.
there are many events and conferences available to us at 3M. outside of work i see the other apprentices as we all get along well.
Yes
It is a relaxed environment, and everyone is very kind. the work ethic is really good and the flexibility is good.
be different in the interview and be confident - you don't have to be the smartest there, you just have to want to work hard
