  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Up till now I have been full time at Warwickshire College Group (mainly Trident site) and am studying a mix of level 2 foundation competencies and a foundation Degree in Engineering. In my days off I go to plant (for me that is Gaydon JLR). Most of the interactions I have is with fellow apprentices' and staff.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do enjoy my programme at this moment. However there are ways it can be improved. Jaguar Land Rover and the College group do not integrate well and the 1st year programme could be improved. This being said the rest of the apprenticeship does not seem to suffer from this problem.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The induction was very good, 1 week at the Ricoh as a business induction. Then a week at the college as a college induction. Then a week at plant as a plant induction. Their is brilliant support at college and the college are very helpful with any problems I may have with studying.
