  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • the group I work with are great to get along with and we work effectively together. the programme we are on is excellent however can be abit confusing an overwhelming at times. there are occasions where organisation has lacked, leading to us sometimes not knowing what we are doing, which location we are at or who our tutor is.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by JLR?
  • JLR value their employees to the highest level. on a day to day basis, I feel that I am currently a valued member of the organisation however, some days, where communication from higher up is missed by our group. I and other feel sometimes like we are unintentionally left out of the communication line.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the programme is well structured and what we are learning is essential to our learning. however, sometimes our programme is very confusing and seems that it hasn't been thought through at times. the training and support is fantastic and you can contact any member of staff most of the time, whether an EEF staff member or a JLR staff member.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • EEF are a great service provider for our training however, the timetable we have is confusing and does not allow us to get into subjects before we move on to another subject. staff are very supportive and help with any issues you have as long as you can speak to them or have their contact details to hand.

  • as we have only been with JLR afew months, we have not experienced any outside opportunities.

    5/10

  • 9. Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • the company overall is fantastic and the support, organisation and dedication of trainers and managers is fantastic. it is a great environment to learn about engineering or any other academic subject JLR support apprentices with.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
  • Ensure you make yourself stand out. Getting high grades WILL NOT guarantee you a spot on an apprenticeships at JLR, anything outside of school that you were part of such as a Cadet force or a unique club will help you to be successful on the apprenticeship. Showing you are committed to developing your learning is key. at the assessments centres and interviews, make conversation with other applicants, it will help with the nerves and enable you to express yourself. BE CONFIDENT IN YOURSELF!!!!!
