I have received internal training on finances. And on the job training for all other aspects of my role and have learnt many skills. Also at university I have learnt and developed upon a number of academic skills.
I really enjoy my role. I have a great team and the work is interesting and varied. The company is excellent to work for as it has an excellent culture and I feel valued. I also really enjoy the university aspect of the programme.
I feel very valued. They are investing a lot in me.
The induction and training for my programme were very good. The university day is well structured - broken down into different modules.
I receive a lot of support from the university of Winchester.
My People and Line manager are very supportive at work and understand I have to balance my work life with my uni life. My mentor is also a very useful contact.
As I have relocated and paying rent and also I drive I have much higher costs than some of my colleagues. My salary does cover my costs but only just with not too much left over to save. However each year on the degree there is a considerable salary increase so I will be much more comfortable in year 2 and 3.
There are a fair few opportunities outside of work. CGI have a sports and social club which offer a range of weekly sports and a number of social events.
