  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • ICA apprentice- first year is mainly at EEF college in Birmingham and you study level 3 engineering BTEC and complete a number of PEO's relevant to your job. Then the next couple years is on the job training with NVQ's.

    • New skills learnt in all areas of engineering and especially in programming PLC's

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • Love the mixture between working on site and then doing college work to gain qualifications.

    • Treated well on site and by the college staff and they are eager to teach

    • Well oranganised and a nice mixture between college and on site working environment.

    • Support is available and always people to email and contact if you have any questions

    • Support it given when needed so if you contact them they will reply and help you

    • Very well paid and any expenses are covered and one of the best paying apprentices
