  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Support Services Sales Executive. I am responsible for the renewals of hundred of our customers' support contracts. Day to day I will work with account managers and customers to scope out which services should be included in renewals for different customers.

  • I have passed 4 MOS exam as part of my training. These exams taught me lots that I didn't know about Microsoft Office.

  • I enjoy my programme a lot. Our trainer is great and the course is highly relevant to my job.

  • Extremely valued. I am given the responsibilties of a full time employee and treated equally within my team.

  • Very organised. Our trainer gave us a monthly breakdown of our course on the first day.

  • It meets them well. I am happy with my salary given I am an apprentice

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Microsoft offers stretch projects which allow us to visit schools and careers fairs to promote apprenticeships.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The opportunities are so broad and there is so much to learn here. Also Microsoft treats its apprentices like any normal employee.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Microsoft?
  • Don't feel like you have to be a straight A student to work here. You need to be confident and show an eagerness to learn. They are looking for people they can build on, not someone who is already there.
