  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role at Spring Technology is an Apprentice Resourcer, In a normal day I would be given a role to work, I would have to research who I'm recruiting for, and go find them suitable candidates. This would involve searching job boards, previous candidates on my tracker and using social media to make contact and qualify them.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I've learnt a lot of new skills. This Apprenticeship has helped me develop my communication skills from working with a range of different people, with different temperaments and experiences. It's also helped me with my organisation skills, ensuring I keeping track of my diary, who I'm talking to, and helped me build consistent relationships with candidates.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my Apprenticeship because It's pushed me to work skills I wasn't aware that I had. It's helped with my confidence when it comes to asking the difficult questions, and created a career goal I have now set within myself.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Adecco Group?
  • Very, they have looked after me from the start of my Apprenticeship, supported me within my health, ensured that the incentives are reachable, and our KPI targets are hard enough to hit but also within reach to exceed.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very, I have contact with all my tutors ensuring I can call them anytime to help me, which I have done successfully. My Manager ensures I have plenty of time to work and study, allowing me to study from home when necessary, and allowing me a quiet and comfortable place to study within the work place as well.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Lots!! My training provider, Christine, has be very supportive every step of the way. Sending me my work in a way that I can adapt to. She's very supportive and constructive, always giving me the best most helpful feedback that I can relate to and develop on in a great way.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Richard - My manager at Spring Technology - Sheffield. Richard has been excellent with supporting me with my work life. Ensuring I have plenty of time to do my apprenticeship coursework, being supportive and helping me learn the recruitment industry the right way being constructive always give me great feedback. Richard supports me with my health, always understanding if I'm unwell ensuring the best for his employees. Excellent Manager!!

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Being an apprentice, the salary just about covers my living costs. I'm defiantly looking forward to being paid a full package salary, I wouldn't be able to live on the salary forever!

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes, I've already been invited to work nights out. Richard always try's to organise group activity's for us to all connect.
