  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The work is fast paced and time restricted, so this can be very stressful at times. The team I work within are very welcoming and experienced so this was great for support. The company as a whole is always looking to further employees, whether it be through general task training or succession.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Gist Ltd?
  • I receive appraisals at least annually, as well as having talks with my line manager, within which I feel I am given the correct amount of thanks and praise as well as target setting. My apprenticeship manager is always looking to help and communicates any feedback from events I am involved in which makes me feel appreciated.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The earlier stages of my apprenticeship were very structured and deadlines set for course work to be completed. There was an unlimited amount of support for this which was great. In my second year of the course, I have been less restricted in this area, so there is less structure, but more real experience to be gained. I still know who to speak to and what I should be doing.
