Manage a portfolio of clients, who are predominantly high net worth individuals Ensure clients are compliant with tax requirements and provide them with advice Deal with enquiries Work on projects Research Study towards professional qualifications

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Lots of new skills, both technical and softer skills Working through professional qualifications whilst working Lots of learning on the job from experienced practitioners, including Partners of the firm

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme provides a great balance of working, on the job learning and being able to complete recognised professional qualifications. I chose an apprenticeship over university and its great to know I will progress quicker than my friends who decided to take the other route. It can be hard work managing everything but is definitely the right move for me.

4. How valued do you feel by Evelyn Partners?

Yes I do. I have regular catch-ups with my line manager and 'buddy' and then there is more formal recognition when you pass exams and at appraisal time.

The programme is very well structured and managed as explained in the answers above.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

Salary and benefits are good and are regularly reviewed through the programme, so I am recognised as I progress.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

There are lots of things going on across the firm, be that centrally organised or by members of staff. I play 5 a side football once a week and there are plenty of socials.

For all the reasons I've explained above - good fun, challenging work, support towards professional qualifications etc..

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Evelyn Partners?

Make sure you do lots of research by looking on the company and careers websites and be clear about why you are interested in your chosen career path. But above all be yourself!
