    • I am a machining apprentice. I work on the mills and lathe making intricate parts for lots of different areas of engineering.

    • I have leant lots of knew skills and have gained lots of new qualifications. I have been developing my skills.

    • I enjoy the people I work with, I am always doing something new every day.

    • I feel very valued at DSTL, they are a caring company that look after there employees.

    • it is very well organised, everyday is a structured day and I learn new skills and expand my knowledge.

    • I receive lots of support and feedback from my training provider. they have helped me along the way of my apprenticeship.

    • I receive lots of support from my employer on how I am doing what's happening and what's coming up

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

    • my salary is good, I am able to enjoy life and a social life. for an apprenticeship it is very good money.

    • yes there are lots of opportunities outside of work, the role I am in will allow me to go to many different companies.

    • Yes

    • it is a good apprenticeship and a good step into the engineering world.

    • do everything you can and squeeze dstl for more course and training.
