  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My Role is a part of the PMO team on the Royal Mail account, I have daily interactions with Project Managers and provide support on project documentation and pushing projects through our internal processes. I also track these projects on a master spread sheet and provide weekly updates to Customers

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learnt lots of news skills mostly interpersonal skills on how best to communicate and deal with situations. I have also attended project management training which has helped me develop further skills and better understand the role that people around me undertake

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot, its very exciting and challenging. Something new is always happening which keeps it fresh and the team is constantly changing which also helps.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Capgemini?
  • I feel a valued member of Capgemini and in my short time have built up a strong reputation. Many people are quick to recognise my efforts and I feel appreciated by a large number of team members.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well structured and I mostly know where I am, what position I'm in and how I plan to progress in the future. I would like to have more comms. surrounding programme structure as initially I was unsure how my training and other activities fit into the wider picture.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • The training provider is good and helpful. My assessor is now setting me on the right path although I had problems with previous assessors not visiting me often enough. My tutor has been excellent throughout all workshops

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a good level of support from my employer. I have great team members around me who are always willing and able to discuss or support me with any issues I may have.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I currently live at home so have no issues with my salary packages and costs due to minimal overheads. I am slightly concerned how moving accounts will affect this in the future but I'm hoping that this wont be an issue.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes there are opportunities for outside involvement in school visits etc. and I am actively involved as part of the SPOC team for my business unit.

  • 9. Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I think the apprenticeship teaches you valuable skills and sets out a clear career path for you to follow. It offers good salary packages and works very well for me so I would definitely recommend.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Be yourself and try to gain as much value out of your time here as you can. Even if that's just the initial application stage always keep learning and keep striving to be the best employee you can!
