  • 4. How valued do you feel by Greta Cottage LTD?
  • I feel valued in the workplace most of the time but I think at sometime we all can feel under valued , this may be due to workload or maybe we are just feeling on the day. I feel valued by the organisation I work for because of their investment in my training and development.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive support and encouragement from my employer to take part in my NVQ level 3 but I do feel that meetings with my assessor in the workplace should be in works time and not my own as I have to take unpaid leave or use my days off to come in for meetings . The end goal is for the benefit of all parties and give and take should be taken by all concerned .

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary does not meet my living costs very well . I earn minimum wage for a 34 hour week . This barely covers my daily living costs although I am lucky in respect that I do not need to pay for public transport to travel to work due to me living close to the workplace. I do acknowledge the fact that health and social care do not pay well and I did realise this when I applied for the job but I do enjoy the work .

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • This is a very vague question and needs to be reworded . I have recommended the training and encouraged the training to other people in the workplace.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greta Cottage LTD?
  • I would advise people to look at the benefits of the training and how it would help them in their job role and in the opportunity of getting employment in the future. Learning and knowledge is there for all of us and I have found this programme a very enjoyable experience even though it was very time consuming .
