I am configuration engineer at my current apprenticeship which involves building the software of desktops and laptops also making sure that they are encrypted and have the correct settings applied to them.
I have completed a CISCO qualification while at my apprenticeship as well as learning advanced IT technical skills which disassembling desktop components.
I am fully enjoying my experience at Fujitsu as my co workers were really welcoming when I first started and have gained a relationship with them.
During my time at Fujitsu, I have been recognised from higher management by receiving a thank you bonus as well as having customer feedback thanking me for the work rate that me and the team have put into job.
At Fujitsu, I feel that everything is organised well as I have been given the correct training and I feel I know what jobs need to be done. However, I feel the college side of my apprenticeship is not as organised as this maybe due to having a 1-2 monthly visit from a assessor and the rest of the communication is through email.
I feel when I am with my assessor, I can understand what I need to do to complete my college work and if I need any support, I can email them. However, I only see my assessor 1-2 a month and because my assessors are with other programmes, emails can usually take a while to reply.
I feel strongly that I receive a lot of support at Fujitsu as I am given opportunities to work in different departments and if I have any issues on the job, my managers are really easy to talk to and are understandable.
My salary that I earn covers all the costs that I need to pay. I am willing to pay my daily and social costs with budgeting my wage when I receive it monthly.
I have taken apart in out of work travel to Fujitsu's main building in London meeting other apprentices as well as higher management. Also, I have taken apart in charity events organised by Fujitsu during the week.
Yes
I feel that Fujitsu is a well organised company and the people are very welcoming from co workers to higher management.
When having an interview with Fujitsu, make sure you prepare yourself about you job role.
