  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as an apprentice was to do the everyday tasks from working on the till, working a delivery, putting stock out, price checks and helping customers. I would help my team members with tasks like planograms or I would work on my own and use my own initiative to find things to do this could be fill from the cages out the back, cleaning and tidying make up stand or facing up the store. My responsibilities were to get tasks done to the best of my ability, to provide excellent customer service and to help customers find everything they were looking for. Also I would cover first aisle tidy make up stands or fill them and also do a tester order if one needed doing.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed working in a team especially a team as friendly and fun as mine was I really felt like I fitted in well and was a part of the team. I enjoyed learning about the retail business as I didn't realise there was that much that went into it. It was better than I expected I learnt a lot more than I thought I would and enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Superdrug?
  • I felt quite valued at Superdrug. I would receive some appreciation from the manager but a little bit more would have been nice. I was thanked when helping with tasks and projects I was in and was asked my opinions on a few things which makes you feel valued and felt like my opinion mattered as part of the team.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program was very well organised my assessor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] was very helpful and helped me achieve the best I could. She would always ask how things were going and if everything was ok and if I had any problems she would help me. Communication could have been slightly better from my store as I would not receive messages that the tutor has left for me for example if times have changed for our meetings. I was slightly disappointed in the training as I had to push for my training as I wasn't being given certain training I needed.
