I'm an audit trainee. The role involves client interactions daily. I have always felt responsible for my own work but not completely responsible for the whole audit due to the seniors reviewing.

The culture of the business is one of BDO's key elements. It makes working within the company pleasurable as personal and professional client relationships form

4. How valued do you feel by BDO?

Appreciation and feedback is given to all. This happens through a self review method which managers and seniors comment on your work for each client. This allows for continual improvement. Then there is a six monthly review with the counselling manager who observes the comments of other managers.

There is an induction day in London that explains all and you gain to learn the structure on the job. The structure is good and managers have been accepting if I get confused for the first year on what is what.

BPP College University is the training provider. The teaching in preparation for the exam is very good. However, the assignments can seem a little tedious and pointless.

A lot of people think the salary is low. However, considering the qualification is included. I am content that my salary meets my everyday costs.
