  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I belive my apprenticeship is organised as my training is on the job, but i dont feel the NVQ i am gaining applies to the role. The assessments on how i gain my NVQ mainly focus on reception work i.e filing, arranging business trips for managers, dealing with people who come through the building ect. My role doesnt involve this so i feel that the work im being assessed on doesnt match my role.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Support from first4skills is limited to only when they come in i feel. My assessor is lovely and will help me when she visits but as said above i dont believe the business and admin NVQ im gaining matches my role as the assessments are mainly focused on receptionist work.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I believe the salary is good for an apprenticeship as it goes higher in my second year, but i believe with doing on the job training i am working the same as new employees who will be on a high wage. If i was to have days of to go to college to gain qualifications then this wage would be great. As i am doing training outside of work this has high costs i.e £1500 which takes alot of my wages away.
