Trainee Associate Review

Increased in technical knowledge from going to college. Also the courses run internally with PwC have been great, from local learning groups to lunch and learns with the team. I have developed with being able to engage with a variety of clients and meeting their needs

Sometimes the work can become very repetitive. My team is great and PwC is a great ompany to work for. The evidence collection is a very laborious process which is showing the basic skills that I have done before I even took my GCSE's

I get constant feedback which is good for developing within PwC. This is from SA right up to SM. Within our business unit they are trying to increase the amount of internal recognition. More people are trying to direct work my way, this makes me feel valued as they want me to work on their clients

The induction could have been longer as it seemed to cram a lot into a short space of time. I now know that they have extended this for this years intake. The internal training that I get from PwC is great and really helps me develop. The overall programme I feel could be better. For example evidence collection is very time consuming which at the moment isn't even on my priority list as I have client commitments. I do not feel the need to show basic skills as PwC wouldn't employee a certain person if they couldn’t do some basic skills. For example, I covered all of the excel evidence in a GCSE IT qualification.

I go to Kaplan, and the tutor is great given the time that we are there. I feel that more time would be beneficial to development as it often feels rushed and we often do not cover everything

The team have been understanding when I am at college but possibly could be more aware with what the programme is and what I have to do.

PwC is a great firm to work for. But might not recomend the apprentiship
