  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am an account hanlder with Willis North America London. I handle the invoicing of accounts, making changes to contracts and delegate processing to Mumbai. I also actively assist in the opperations of the entire BU, monitoring the Metrics and helping the BU to get the most iof of its data. This was a long term project and responsibility given to me.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Excell skills, communication skills, and the general knowledge of multinational business has grown. I am learning everyday, and now I have been here 6 months I can really see my knowledge and new skills shine through.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my program, as you get out of it what you put in. I am constantly learning and developing.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by WTW?
  • I feel very valued by my BU actively taking part in the operations process. I think it might be early days to feel valued by Willis as a whole.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Its not really an apprentiship with dedicated study days typical of this. Its a full time job with learning in the contract.

  • The CII offer exceptional training sessions to get you through exams.

  • 6/10

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Its great baring in mind youre getting Qualifications. However its widely remarked Willis offers less compensation for younger staff members than perhaps competitors.

  • Yes

  • The Global scale of the company makes it a diverse and strong opportunity.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
  • Be ambitious and have an idea of where you want to go, as you get out what you put into this scheme.
