  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It is an enjoyable program as the team are usually very friendly and helpful, however my main complaints would be the company culture of excessive working, where not in busy season you almost get frowned upon for leaving at 5 despite the contracted/retain hours.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • I feel that I am not individually valued in the organisation as everybody at an associate level gets promoted on a yearly basis regardless of their performance and our dedication to work and our work done quality do not get recognised in full at our year end reviews and I feel that as the values awards have been scrapped since we joined there are less ways to show appreciation for colleagues/staff.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel that our programme has been fairly well structurd however I do get the feeling that the course has been overly stretched out over 5 years when realistically we could complete it wthin 4 years, however I do value the extra work experience we gain from this.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • We receive barely any support from our training provider, aside from college we are given little or no help with exams and the compulsory course training we are given are usually completely pointless for the lower levelled staff as they are aimed at manager level or above.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We received quite a fair bit of support from our employers to do with counsellor/buddy system and our resource cordinators being available to talk to. The only bit of extra support I feel that would be necessary would be support to do with our exam preparation and gien more time for study leave.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My Salary/Package is very reasonable to do with costs, however at the moment I am living with parents so it does not cost me rent but if I was to rent out a place in London or cloes to the office I feel that our salary would not be suficient to support this.

    7/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • I feel that we have been offered few opportunities outside of work, we have to actively seek out these opportunities if we wish to do anything however we do not get offered a lot.

    4/10

  • 9. Would you recommend EY to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend this as it is a good learning experience for anybody involved and a great opportunity.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • I would advise to just be confident and do not feel you have to be under too much pressure to impress your colleagues.
