Job Title: Apprentice Daily Tasks: My daily tasks include any jobs set by my current department, this can vary from submitting query forms to looking at components of aircraft and aircraft ground equipment. Daily Interactions Internally: I interact with the members of my department and other departments as well as fellow apprentices and my training manager. Daily Interactions Externally: I communicate with employees from other BAE Systems sites. Responsibilities: I have responsibility over any tasks given to me by my department, as well as responsibility over my NVQ and college work. Projects: I work on various projects at BAE.
I have earned a number of new qualifications (BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering) as well as numerous internal training courses on health and safety and new programs (Workspace) I have learnt a number of skills at work such as reading a drawing, document formatting.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme.

The programme is very well organised at BAE Systems however external FE providers have not always been well organised however this has been improved.
I receive full support from my training provider. Tutors are always willing to help.
I receive full support from my employer, we are always asked if we need any help.

It's a brilliant company to work for, the work is interesting and varied and they look after you very well.
Be honest, relaxed and ensure that you have revised english, maths and engineering for the online assessments. Research the company, it always pays to know about the company you're applying for.
