I generally support the Project Manager on a day to day basis, managing the project schedules and producing data for review.
My communication skills have vastly improved since the start of the scheme. For someone coming into the working environment for the first time, BAE Systems provides a friendly and helpful environment for their apprentices.
The programme is great, it provides a really good opportunity to get paid whilst studying for a degree as well as obtaining 5 valuable years of experience.
BAE Systems really value their apprentices and have a well developed early careers network to assist with development.
The programme is now in its second year and is becoming more and more developed. The training provider works well in partnership with BAE to ensure that the scheme runs smoothly and support is provided where needed.
A large amount of support. They have always been available during half terms and holidays to support us further with assignments when needed
There is a strong support network in place for all apprentices on the scheme.
The salary we get is a really strong starting salary and covers all your needs if you are still living at home.
There are lots of opportunities to get involved with community events and other educational activities.
