1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work within a technology initiation team meaning I vet new requirements coming in to the international demand deposit accounting team.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed - Communication through several different channels e.g. email, phone, face to face. Professionalism when talking to senior staff New computer skills using Microsoft applications frequently

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I massively enjoy the program it has set me up for a future career in a very interesting and expanding area, I have also met several great friends through the course and moved out of home gaining independance

4. How valued do you feel by J.P. Morgan?

I feel incredibly valued by JP Morgan, being an apprentice is a great way to introduce myself to senior staff and network. A lot of senior staff take a keen interest in apprentices at JP Morgan.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Fantastically organized with a set study timetable with online lectures which are greatly beneficially and well presented

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

AS much or as little as required, BPP are fantastic and have been a massive help to myself whether it be for revision, online lectures or evidence submitting

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Huge amounts, 1 day a week dedicated to studying allows us ample time to feel prepared for our exams and within work Phil and Gemma (Run the apprenticeship) are always on hand if you need help

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

The salary is exceptional for an apprenticeship compared to others I have seen. I pay rent, bills, buy my own food and run a car with enough left over for savings/disposable income

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

JP Morgan has a fantastic set of business resource groups which allow you to get involved outside of your business as usual. they also have sports teams.

9. Would you recommend J.P. Morgan to a friend?

Yes

9b. Why?

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far despite being from a construction background I have felt welcomed and aided in any situation I required help in.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to J.P. Morgan?

DO IT! ensure you are professional and as relaxed as possible throughout the application process that will stand you the best chance of getting accepted.
