Software testing involves making sure that Programmers are up to a certain standard before being released to the customer and the end user. The job involves doing tests on the system to make sure all of the main features are working correctly.
Most of the skills that I have been developing have been new to me, I have a background in IT but I don't know that much about testing.
The program itself is good, all of the staff members are really nice and it is really easy to go up to someone and ask them a question.
I personally feel undervalued at the moment, but that is mainly because we have only just started and we are spending most of the time training, however this should change as we become more relaxed with the environment and the programs we'll be working with.
The program is structured well, everything seems to be organized in advanced and we get plenty of notice before we have a training section.
So far the support has been good, but as the weeks have gone on the support has dropped off.

My salary easily covers all of my costs without any problems, however my only really cost is transport and the running of my car, so money was never going to be a big issue.
Opportunities are fairly few and far between, but this is mainly due to the fact that its winter.

The program itself is good, all of the staff members are really nice and it is really easy to go up to someone and ask them a question. I would come here for the work environment alone.
Always ask question, Everyone is really nice and will be happy to answer your question. If they don't know the answer, they'll probably know someone who does.
